Kansas Wild Life

I work for a Rural Electric. One of our trade magazines ran an article that just seemed too weird to ignore. It HAD to be a journal entry. The population density in Kansas decreases as you go West. WaKeeney is out there is sparse country. To have pachyderms running wild is quite the vision.

What a delightful entry, and one you'll enjoy going back to enjoy from time to time! Love that elephant..but that farm hand who tried to rope it made me giggle!

Oh what a hoot. We get moose wandering through the capital from time to time, but you kind of expect that. A lost hog running around a campus - kinda funny. An elusive white cow on the interstate - funny but dangerous. But elephants? In Kansas? I'm afraid I hurt myself laughing. Really glad you documented it in your journal. Great drawings. Thank you VERY much for sharing. Thoughts of that'll keep me in chuckles for quite a while.

John - this is great! We had an African Lion loose out here in Colorado the other day, they never found it so they say it was probably just a dog - hmmmmmmmm What part of Kansas are you in? I'm originally from Colby. Marva

I like how you weave text, drawing & color into your layouts. My journal entries tend to be austere character studies.
Keep 'em coming.
