Well, I recently had my second business trip that involved an airline this year. More frequent than usual. This time travel involved no surprises. Don't think I'll ALWAYS sketch plane pieces and parts, but I'm not bored with it yet. I only sketched in pencil on the plane w/notes and color waited until I was back home. Would have been nice to work on the color in the plane but there's just not enough time.

What a beautiful page, rich colors -- I like browsing in your journal very much.
Welcome to the blogger's world John. You've made a great start. I'm way behind in LTJ2B as well as with my blog but I love to read other people's and see their drawings. I'll be watching yours.
I am so delighted you posted this1 The colors are TERRIFIC, as are the pen and ink drawings. I have a hard time making passenger's neck napes look interesting! (Hope your future flights are better than the life-time worst you described, too.)
Really great sketches "on the fly"- now you need a travel set of WC see why everyone talkes about that so much?!
This is wonderful. I love the way you lay out your journal pages.
Great journal entry! I like your bold use of colors.
John, I really enjoyed looking through your entries. I like your journaling style. Very fun!
I agree...this is a great entry...I especially like the view out the window at the engines...and boy those southwest colors really "zing"! Super! :)
