The wife and I are just finishing up our first season of watching hummingbirds at our first feeder. These little guys are a hoot to watch. And boy can they eat a lot! When they're getting bulked up to migrate south they really suck down the sugar water. I think the males have started the migration. The feeder requires much less refilling. Book says the females will follow shortly. I often complained when I had to clean and fill the feeder, but I'll sure miss them when they're gone.

I love your journal, John, and check every couple days to see if you've added anything.
Wonderful page, I love the layout. The gestures of these fasinating little creatures flying is great!
Great journal pages! We've been watching hummingbirds on our deck in Chicago (I can hardly believe it)! We'll miss them too.
Great spread John! I love your pages!!!! We've enjoyed our hummers for several years now, they really do put on a show, don't they? Last year two of our males had a battle royal for "king of the hill" status that had me very concerned for the older one. He survived, but he lost the battle.
What a terrific page!! You captured them so well in so many poses and the feeder as well - they put on quite a show
